RENO, Nev. (KOLO) - THURSDAY UPDATE: Police believe a shooting that left one person dead Wednesday night was in self defense.
It was reported around 8:45 p.m. on January 27, 2021 in the area of S. Virginia Street and Hillcrest.
Officers found a person who had been shot. No other people involved in the shooting were at the scene.

After investigation the county attorney is not charging anyone since it was determined to be a self defense shooting. Thanks.
