Investigators determined that Kelly had been shot by his brother Timmy Kelly, 45, who was still on the scene when deputies arrived.
Witnesses told investigators that Jimmy threatened Timmy before he went inside, grabbed a rifle, came back outside and fired a shot at Timmy.
Witnesses then said that Timmy fired a single round back at Jimmy, which struck and killed him.
