Officers were called to the park at around 9:20 p.m., where they found 30-year-old Rashad Liddwell shot in the chest. He was taken to the hospital but died less than an hour later, according to authorities.
Police said a woman shot the man, claiming self-defense and fear for her life. She has not been charged, but the investigation continues.
