FL: Victim Shot in Gunfight, Suspect Sought

The victim was walking home near West 61st and North Pearl streets about 9 p.m. when the suspect confronted him and demanded his "possessions," Jacksonville Sheriff's Office Lt. George Grant said at a news briefing.

At some point, both pulled out handguns and started shooting at each other, leaving the victim wounded in both legs. The victim was taken to UF Health with gunshot wounds, but is expected to recover, Lt. Grant told First Coast News.
