LA followup: Fournet not Guilty in Gun Store Shootings

A Lafayette Parish grand jury late Wednesday declined to indict a Youngsville business owner who shot and killed one of two New Iberia teenagers he caught burglarizing his firearms facility.

Fournet told detectives he fired when the driver, later identified as Walker, drove toward him in the truck, which had been reported stolen from Lafayette, the Sheriff’s Office has said.
