This is the first case that I have seen where the victim wounded the aggressor before being disarmed and killed, an extremely rare occurrence. In this case the criminal had spent 10 years of his life in prison.
DOVER-FOXCROFT, Maine — The man suspected of killing his ex-girlfriend
in Parkman was unarmed when he climbed through a window of her house
but took the handgun she fired at him and shot her with it, according to
