KS: Domestic Case looks like Defense of Other



They went to that house for the ex-girlfriend to retrieve property, Ojile said. Massey and his son went to the door, knocked and were allowed inside.

Once inside, Massey pulled out a gun and pointed it at the 18-year-old ex-boyfriend, witnesses told police. They came into the view of the ex-boyfriend’s roommate, who “retrieved a handgun near his location” and fired several shots at Massey, Ojile said.

Massey was struck more than once and crawled out of the house. He was helped to the car, where police found him upon arrival.
