WA: More on King County Shooting
KING COUNTY, Wash. —
Police say a 70-year-old homeowner shot a man who came into his home and began attacking his roommate.
Investigators said a man in his 50s entered the home in the 9400 block of Carnation-Duvall Road Northeast at about 2 p.m. Sunday and began to attack the homeowner's 65-year-old roommate. The 70-year-old man fired gunshots at the man, who fled.
The homeowner told police that he had fired five shots from a 9mm handgun, but was not sure if he had actually hit the man. Investigators learned the man had lived on the property in the past and there was some history of violence between the parties.
