MO: Gunfight, Man Shoot Suspected Car Thief who Pointed Gun at him

A 42-year-old man said he left his vehicle running while he went into the store, but while he was shopping spotted a 27-year-old man entering his car, according to police.


The car owner confronted the man and the thief pointed a gun in his direction, police said. The owner then pulled out his own gun and exchanged gunfire with the thief, striking the thief in the pelvis, police said.
