SC: South Myrtle Beach - Domestic Defense? Man Shot, then Arrested

Horry County Police responded to reports of a shooting in progress with a victim at 7:38 p.m. at the Atlantic Beach Laundry Mat located at 609 31st Ave. South. When they arrived, officers found one person on the floor with an apparent gunshot wound in his upper left thigh, according to the incident report. The injured person told officers he did not see the shooter, know the shooter or know what they were wearing, the report states. He said that he was shot and then ran into the laundry mat before exiting. Officers discovered a spent 9mm casing next to the injured individual, as well as an unused 9mm round and a 9mm projectile that was found inside the laundry mat.
