During a verbal argument, a 25-year-old woman and 28-year-old man "both produced a firearm," police said.
When officers arrived, they found the woman on the floor with multiple gunshot wounds. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Bexar County Medical Examiner later identified the victim as Zierra Dawn Torres. She died of multiple gunshot wounds and her death was ruled a homicide.
Police are investigating the shooting as a murder case. They have not identified the suspect or announced an arrest.
