“After the shooting, the victim was alert and walking and did not appear to have life-threatening injuries when he was transported by EMS to a local hospital,” the city said in a release.
The police department said it believes the juvenile was targeted and that there is no indication of a public threat.
The juvenile reportedly fired shots back at the suspect, police said.
