Mont. Senate ok's concealed carry without permit


HELENA, Mont. (AP) — A bill that would allow concealed carry without a permit is shooting toward passage after receiving the Senate's initial endorsement.

There are four states that already have Constitutional or "permitless" carry. They are: Alaska, Arizona, Vermont, and Wyoming.

Utah recently passed a version with more than 2/3 vote in each house, but it has been vetoed by their governor.

There may be a veto override attempt.
