UT: Intoxicated Man Points Gun at Neighbor, gets Shot, Wounded

The host saw that the man was under the influence and had a gun in his waistband, so the host told him to leave. Hansen said the host also took the gun and the magazine out of it and then handed it back to the man and asked him to leave.

The man did comply the second time and began walking down the street. Once the man left, the host brought the children into the backyard and went across the street to a neighbor's house who had a gun and a concealed weapons permit, police said.

The alleged intoxicated man then came to the neighbor's house and pointed his gun at the two, Hansen said.

"During that conversation, an argument, he pointed his handgun at one of the neighbors," Hansen said. "And when he did that, that neighbor did shoot him."
