MN: Bulletproof whiteboards installed in school district

ANYTHING rather than abolish "Gun-free zones"

"A Minnesota school district where two students were killed in a 2003 shooting unveiled a new device Tuesday aimed at adding a last-ditch layer of safety for teachers and students: bulletproof whiteboards. The Rocori School District has acquired nearly 200 of the whiteboards, made of a material touted by its manufacturer as stronger than that in police-issue bulletproof vests. The 18-by-20-inch whiteboards can be used by teachers for instruction and used as a shield in an emergency. Police Chief Phil Jones demonstrated the whiteboards Tuesday in a school gym by leveling a karate kick at one, whacking it with a police baton and stabbing it with a knife -- all with no apparent effect."

There's a flaw. What's to stop the psycho gun-abuser from walking up to Fort Whiteboard and firing over the top? I know, I know, strongly worded protests and incessant whining as practised by all lefty sheeple. Can't we all just get along? Btw, I'm offended by the word, "white" board. Almost as bad as "black" board, or even "water" board. We should go back to scribbling in the sand. With sticks no thicker than 1/4 in, to prevent violence. Beach sand, of course, with rounded edges.

Good information, Bulletproof whiteboards are really helpful to save a life. Due to rising crime, the bulletproof whiteboards must be installed in schools.
