It appears that both suspects were hit.
The two men walked into the pharmacy, hit the pharmacist over the head and then fled in a dark green Lincoln LS, according to Stout. He said that the pharmacist fought back and fired at the suspects multiple times, possibly hitting one of them.
Stout said the pharmacist was taken to the hospital to be treated for injuries. He was later released and returned to the store to help download security footage for police. Family members told 5NEWS the man has five staples in his head.
