SCHENECTADY — A city man shot and killed an armed intruder last week during a home invasion at a Hamburg Street residence in what Schenectady County District Attorney Robert Carney described as a “justified use of deadly force.”
Attorney Daniel Smalls said Tuesday that the incident marked the second
time that the assailant had targeted his client, Marc Cunningham, 25.
While he does not face a charge directly related to the man’s death,
Cunningham is charged with felony criminal possession of a firearm.
