On Thursday, July 24, 2025, at approximately 0336 hours, HCSO D2 patrol units received a disturbance call for service, which was later upgraded to an Aggravated Assault. The call for service was related to an individual entering the victim's property while holding a machete. During this incident, the suspect was shot one time in the chest.
