CENTRALIA, Wash. -- A 62-year-old homeowner, his girlfriend and his
shotgun teamed up to stop a knife-wielding home-invader Friday morning
in Centralia, according to the Lewis County Sheriff's Office.
According to the Sheriff's Office, the homeowner and his girlfriend were
in their living room in the 2900 block of Little Hanaford Road shortly
before 7:30 a.m. when Sean Ferrel, a 43-year-old homeless and likely
intoxicated man armed with a knife, entered through an unlocked sliding
door.
