According to officials, District 4 officers were alerted to reports of shots fired in the 800 block of N 9th St. just before 7 p.m. Police say a 14-year-old and another suspect attempted to rob two men at gunpoint.
SLMPD said one of the victims, a 45-year-old man, was carrying a firearm at the time of the shooting. Officials say shots were fired by the 14-year-old and the 45-year-old man, both sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
