Officers arrived at the Bradford Apartments near E. 32nd St. N. and Garrison, where a woman said she shot her child's father because he was assaulting her and threatening to kill her, according to police.
Billy Williams, 45, was found dead inside the apartment with a gunshot wound to the chest. Police note the woman showed multiple signs of domestic abuse. She was questioned and released pending further investigation.
