Cleveland County investigators say an alleged burglar shot at a homeowner who caught them in the act Monday night.
It happened along Mallard Drive in Grover, according to the Cleveland County Sheriff’s Office.
Upon hearing the gunshots, a neighbor attempted to confront the thief and fired his own shots when he believed the man might shoot at him.
Investigators say there isn’t evidence that anyone was shot.
