The victims were gunned down in the 3800 block of Bewick just after 10:50 a.m., police said. Here's what went down, according to Police Chief Todd Bettison:
After one of the men was shot and killed, another man, believed to be the cousin of the first victim and who is licensed to carry, fired at the shooter in his cousin's defense, Bettison said in a recorded video at the scene.
The CPL holder was detained after the shooting.
