Deputies responded to a call of a person trying to break into a residence on Lakeview Circle before 3 a.m. A person inside the home fired a weapon and fled.
Deputies said they received a call around 7 a.m. from St. Francis Hospital for a man with a gunshot wound. Deputies learned the man was the suspect in the burglary.
