Rowland said Jordan Wright, a male from Johnston, was treated at the Augusta hospital and released into Richmond County Sheriff’s Office custody for extradition to South Carolina on charges of attempted murder and possession of a weapon during a crime.
Rowland said deputies took one person, Lasavion Johnson, into custody at the shooting location.
Rowland said late Friday afternoon that Johnson was being questioned but wasn’t likely to be arrested because it appeared to be a case of self-defense.
Rowland said it appeared that Wright and one of the two injured females had gone after Johnson.
