“After some time,” the MNPD said Greer started talking to Wilson through the speaker of the home surveillance system. They “got into a heated argument” about whether Wilson’s husband was inside the home, police added.
Wilson then allegedly tried to forcibly enter the home and Greer fired one shot into the storm door. Wilson was not struck, and she gained entry into the residence. Police said the two women engaged in a physical struggle before Greer fired a second time, striking Wilson in the abdomen.
No charges have been placed at this time, per the MNPD, but a determination of possible charges will be made after further investigation.
