About an hour later, officers received another call in which the reporting party said a neighbor was at the front door and trying to break the door down.
The reporting party armed himself with a gun.
At 1:40 a.m., another call was received, advising that a shooting had just happened. When officers arrived, they called neighbors outside and found a man dead in the backyard of a house with apparent gunshot wounds.
